Satellite TV stopped working?

One potential cause is that BBC have recently introduced HD versions of their regional channels which required a number of the Astra 2 (28.2E) transponders to switch their transmission type to DVB-S2 (8psk modulation).



These changes mean that many automatic satellite systems will need updating in order to restore their ability to locate, identify and lock onto the signal in order to watch satellite TV services on Astra 28 like Freesat, Sky or Free to air (FTA) BBC / ITV / Channel 4 / 5 etc.
